Enterprise of Competence

We have been a certified Enterprise of Competence since the regulations came into effect in 2002.

Periodic Inspection:
All lifting equipment is legally required to undergo an annual inspection, and we offer yearly inspections for a wide range of lifting equipment. Typical equipment that requires annual inspection includes slings, hoists, cranes, and lifting beams.

Nøsted& is an approved Enterprise of Competence in competence category S1 and certified by an independent third party. This enables us to perform annual inspections, certification, and re-certification of your lifting equipment. Additionally, we can calibrate your load cells and test benches. We can perform inspections at your location for a fixed agreed price or on an hourly rate basis.

Norway’s Most Comprehensive Testing Center for Lifting Equipment

At our factory in Sannidal, we have developed Norway’s most extensive testing center for lifting equipment, frames, slings, subsea running tools, and more. We offer professional testing, certification, re-certification, and maintenance using the most advanced technology on the market.

With our expertise and specialized equipment, we ensure that your equipment is tested and approved according to current safety standards.

Modern Testing Stations with Advanced Technology

Our modern testing stations enable thorough testing of lifting equipment, frames, beams, and specialized components. With technology for tensile, fracture, and cycle testing, we deliver precise and reliable results while meeting international safety standards.

All testing stations are calibrated according to NS-EN ISO 7500-1 using an electronic load cell, which is further calibrated according to NS-EN ISO 376.

600 t Chant Test Station

Ideal for calibration, fracture tests, and cycle tests on chains, straps, and components. The machine handles lengths of up to 27.4 meters with a capacity of 600 tons.

Test Station 400 t

With a capacity of up to 400 tons, this station is perfect for large and robust units such as frames and beams.

Maximum dimensions: 12 x 4 x 6 meters (LxWxH).

Test Station CT 875

Tailored for testing spreaders and components, with a capacity ranging from 10 to 875 tons for components and up to 1100 tons for spreader beams.

Maximum dimensions: 10 x 1 x 1.5 meters (LxWxH) with a cylinder stroke length of 550 mm.

Test Station CT 80

The CT 80 is designed for testing spreaders, frames, and components with a capacity of 1–80 tons.

Maximum dimensions: 8000 x 3000 x 3500 mm (LxWxH).

Test Bench CT 200

For both tensile and fracture testing, the CT 200 is a reliable solution with a capacity of up to 200 tons.

Maximum dimensions: 4000 x 650 x 400 mm (LxWxH).

In-house Production and Warehouse

All equipment we manufacture is tested in our own facilities, ensuring high quality and reliability. Additionally, we maintain an extensive inventory of parts and new lifting equipment, allowing us to quickly meet our customers' needs for both repairs and new solutions.

Repair and Maintenance

We offer a wide range of services for the repair and maintenance of lifting equipment. Our services include:

· Inspection and upgrading of slings, chains, and other accessories.

· Repair and retesting to ensure the equipment is ready for use.

· Certification of lifting equipment, including testing of permanently installed cranes with necessary lift tests.

Our inspectors use detailed checklists and perform test lifts with appropriate loads to verify capacity. We also offer flexible solutions, where we can carry out work both at the customer’s location and in our workshop.
