With decades of experience in lifting technology and load handling systems, we design, calculate and manufacture custom lifting tools, assemblies and steel structures tailored to specific operational requirements.

Through our Engineer-to-Order approach, each solution is developed in close cooperation with the customer to ensure optimal functionality, safety and operational efficiency.

Equipment is engineered, verified and delivered in accordance with relevant standards and regulations, including DNV 2.7-1 and DNV 2.7-3, and CE marking in accordance with the Machinery Directive where applicable.

Based on the customer’s design and specifications, we deliver qualified welding, fabrication and assembly, supported by certified processes and strong quality control throughout the production process.

With more than 50,000 m² of production facilities, modern equipment and experienced personnel, we offer substantial manufacturing capacity for prototypes, small series and larger production volumes.

We can deliver complete manufacturing scopes or selected parts of the production process.

Qualified fabrication for demanding applications

Nøsted & delivers high-quality welding and fabrication of steel structures and mechanical components for demanding industrial applications. Our processes are carried out by skilled personnel using qualified welding procedures to ensure structural integrity, durability and consistent quality.

Fabrication is performed in accordance with EN 1090, ISO 3834-2, and our management systems are certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, ensuring quality, traceability and responsible production.

Our production capabilities include a broad range of steel processing methods such as laser cutting, gas cutting, sawing, punching, bending, rolling and forming, enabling efficient production of both complex components and complete welded structures.

Our operations are supported by more than 50,000 m² of production facilities, providing substantial capacity for fabrication and assembly.

Through qualified welding procedures and controlled fabrication processes, we deliver robust and reliable solutions for demanding industrial environments.

Quality and performance are verified through inspection, testing and measurement, including hardness testing, stress evaluation and microstructural analysis supported by laboratory services where required.

Nøsted & offers controlled heat treatment processes to optimize strength, wear resistance and mechanical performance of steel components. Our capabilities include hardening, tempering, case hardening and through hardening, adapted to the material and application requirements.

We have substantial capacity for quench and temper treatment of steel, with or without carburizing, supporting demanding industrial applications. Our heat treatment services are also supplied to customers in industries such as automotive and heavy industry, where consistent material performance is critical.

Corrosion protection for demanding environments

Nøsted & provides surface treatment solutions designed to protect steel structures and components in harsh and demanding environments. Our processes ensure long service life, reliable performance and a high-quality finish.

Our capabilities include sandblasting, powder coating, industrial painting and galvanizing, delivering corrosion protection tailored to the operational requirements of each application.

In addition to our in-house capabilities, we collaborate with a broad network of qualified partners offering additional surface treatment methods when required, ensuring the optimal protection and finishing for each application.

Thermal Diffusion Galvanizing

Nøsted offers Thermal diffusion galvanizing as an advanced surface treatment providing durable corrosion protection and a smooth, wear-resistant zinc coating. The coating hardness is comparable to the chain material itself, providing excellent durability in demanding applications.

Powder Coating

Powder coating provides a durable and high-quality finish combining corrosion protection, chemical resistance and a uniform surface. When applied with proper surface preparation, it is well suited for galvanized steel and aluminium components where both long-term protection and a decorative finish are required.

The coating is applied electrostatically as a fine powder and cured to form a strong, continuous and wear-resistant surface. Powder coating offers consistent quality, long service life and an efficient, environmentally responsible process suitable for a wide range of industrial applications.

Wet Painting and Industrial Coating

Wet painting provides flexible and robust surface protection for steel structures and components exposed to demanding environments. Industrial coating systems are tailored to the operational requirements, offering effective corrosion protection, durability and the desired surface finish. Wet painting is well suited for large structures, complex geometries and applications requiring specific coating systems or color finishes.

Nøsted & provides documented testing and verification services to ensure compliance, safety and reliable performance of lifting equipment and steel components. Our capabilities include NDT inspection, calibration of load cells and test machines, and statutory inspections of lifting equipment.

Through our testing and laboratory services we perform load testing, fatigue and fracture testing, hardness measurements, microstructure analysis, salt spray testing and Charpy impact testing. These services ensure that products meet both relevant standards and operational requirements.
